THE EDGE

  • The Edge, an immersive creative showcase presented by the Finalists of Media and Creative Industries (BA Hons) 2025 at the University of Warwick. Featuring a diverse range of media including fashion, food, live music, and performance art celebrating the theme of “OTHERS”. The event provided a platform for attendees to engage with thought-provoking student work, while also facilitating conversations between creatives, industry professionals, and the community.

  • As a key member of the Operations and Marketing Team, I played a significant role in the planning, promotion, and execution of the event.

    Branding and Visual Identity

    • Created branding assets and visual variations for The Edge, including developing the event's name and tagline to reflect the creative and innovative spirit of the showcase.

    Social Media Marketing

    • Managed the event's promotional content across Instagram accounts such as @mciwarwick and @ccmpswarwick.

    • Coordinated and hosted an Instagram takeover on the @uniofwarwick account, developing engaging short-form content to build excitement leading up to and during the event.

    Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement

    • Responsible for contacting industry professionals to invite them to the event. I also collaborated with university staff, such as our external examiners to facilitate meaningful discussions about student work and the broader MCI programme.

    Guest Flow Management

    • Managed the flow of guests during the event, greeting them upon arrival and providing an introduction to the event to enhance their understanding and engagement.

    Operations Management

    • In charge of continuous email updates sent out to the class to signpost progress, provide key information, and keep project teams informed about operational developments.

    Event Logistics

    • Assisted in registration, ensured smooth guest flow, and managed session timings to help attendees experience the event as intended.
